OK here is day one at the Nationals. The track is crazy but awesome. 20 degree banking down back straight away then straight down hill. Absolutly nuts Flathead light and heavy. 18 Karts in mains. Took 11th in booth. No real practice. So we had to use first day of racing as practice and learn the track. Long day but Ty worked hard against 9,previous Duffy winners. We are at it again tomorrow with the clone Light and Heavy classes. Thanks Mike Most

2nd day of Nationals. Jr2 Clone light and Heavy. Started both mains 10 out of 18. Light finished 10th. Drove up to 4 and got punted to the rear. Drove it back to 10th. Heavy race. Was running 5th and two Karts in front of Ty spun. He ran over the back of one and bent a spindle. Some how finished 9th. We are still struggling with Ty learning the track. But he is battling his best against some stiff competition. 11 repeat Duffy winners racing against him. He is making new friends and working hard. More than any dad can ask for. We run Animal light and Heavy tomorrow. I will give everyone an update after we complete the Nationals tomorrow.
Thanks Mike Most

Last day of IKF Nationals. We ran Animal light and Heavy. In the light main there were 14 karts. We started 11th due to an engine change. Ty raced up to sixth. We were coming to 5th at the end but ran out of time. In the second Main the Animal Heavy we started 6th out of 14. Ty got shuffled to the 10th spot. He wheeled it up to fifth and got passed on the last lap and took sixth. Over all a really good day. He figured out the track and ran really fast times. Out of all the winners in JR 2 Everyone was a past winner from last year. The weather was in the low 70s all week and Tyler raced his heart out. We didn't make the podium all week but I couldn't be happier or prouder of him for fighting all week against the odds and a lot of really great racers. On another note Eddie Brose racing in the adult classes raced in 6 classes and sweeped them all. 6 Duffys in 3 days. We leave for Phoenix on Saturday. Hopefully returning to battle another day. Thanks Mike Most.
