Do we have a track prep guy?? If the Motorcycles were approved like we were told, are they racing this weekend and on a regular basis?? I am sure this would help the club!!!!!! Do we have a tech person? Do we have a flagman? Do we have a race director? Just some food for thought!!!!!!!!!! Better to be proactive and reactive
Thanks Mike Most

Mike, the track has been worked and yes, someone will be there to prep. Del Baker has agreed to flag. Not sure of race director, want to volunteer? Come on out and enjoy, everything will fall into place.

If we can get started early maybe. Tyler is playing baseball at 2pm so I have to leave by 125 latest. Hoping the Clone class will be 1st out of the gate after intermission. Also question to all the KT drivers. Why do you guys not race anymore on a regular basis? Just curious if there is a specific reason.
Thanks Mike Most.

I want to thank Brian & Eric for the great track that thcut& preped for everyone to race on. It was one of the best tracks we have had in a while. Also a special thanks to all the volunteers that steped up to help put the race on. Misty did a great job on the grid gate as well as all of the volunteer corner workers.

Mike,
I am not sure who you were asking the question to, but if you are woundering what I do as a board member I help out on pre-teck when needed and try to assist any Jr classes with question or concerns as well attend most of the board meetings.
Most of us on the board have full time jobs and work 5o plus hours a week and arent as fortuniate as some of you who pay for people to help.
Thanks,
Ken Queen

Yes it was directed to you Ken as I do not really see you dong much of anything so I asked the question. I didn't see you at the track work day (but saw your trailer at PKRA) Didn't see you at the rules and nomination meeting. As for helping out the JR classes isn't there only one class and your son in it. And it only runs once a month so that your son doesn't lose a championship while you are racing at the other track. Denise I never questioned what you do. LOL its pretty obvious all you do. And I FOR ONE THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH!!!!! As for me having someone who helps with my car sorry we all make choices Ken and I guess mine have been better than yours. LMAO
Thanks Mike Most

Someone please explain to me why some AKA members, not all, but some AKA members have friction or distain for the PKRA club. I know for a fact that no one at PKRA has any ill feelings towards the AKA club. I also know that I have posted many notices on PKRA's forum about upcoming events at AKA to promote them and no one at PKRA complained about it. I know that Jay Flasser has also posted the same things on PKRA's forum promoting AKA events. Why do some AKA members feel you either got to be a "Hatfield" or "McCoy".

I Don't think anywhere anyone put that on these messages. You might want to read and comprehend things first and then post What was said was I saw your trailer at PKRA getting ready to race a night race but yet as a board member of AKA you didn't show up to work with the rest of the board members or the club members. Again read comprehend and then post!!!!! If you do that you will see things in a better light.

Not really responding to the AKA, PKRA comments- I have friends at both tracks. People can race where they want. Just wondered where you have been, Ted. Did you change your mind about running for the AKA board of directors? We don't seem to have many who are willing to step up and do the work required to put on races. This is upsetting to me,but times change, I guess. We will just have to see what the future brings. And wondering about the 4 cycle modifieds ( I think that's what they were called). I thought they were coming back.

Maybe a change of things would not be a bad thing for the club of AKA .. All i know my family has spent alot of time at this track and have had some great times and plan on spending many more years out there. Would be nice to see all racers get along and do what they can to help keep all the local tracks up and running before there are all gone !!!!!
PS that goes for all tracks in AZ. Thx. MILLER BOYS

Thanks Aaron I agree with your comments and observations. I wish the two tracks could some how get on the same page. Carolynn , yes I have decided not to run for the board this election. The reason is I was told at the last club meeting that I attended on 9/10/14 that all of the board members except Ken Queen were leaving. I got this info from your President that very night and honestly I appreciated that he shared that info. I have no desire to try to clean up the mess left behind from the current board by myself and one board member. You are at least $3000 in the hole and most every show you run is a $$$ loser. The 4 cycle modified class " Buckeye guys" never got going because of the rain outs and race cancellations. Then the board decided they could not practice anymore and that they had to race at double the cost. You chased those guys away not me. You never allowed that program to get off the ground before you killed it in on the runway. Now as far as where I have been? I'm over at PKRA because I enjoy it, they pay me to do tech and I don't have to listen to all this drama like I do at when I am at AKA. Plus most of you're race days are on the same day or weekend as PKRA. I can't be in two places at once. Now am I willing to still help AKA, yes I am but I first want to see what the board makeup is after the elections and Holiday Classic. Mike, none of my previous post about PKRA vs. AKA was directed towards you.
